The ceremony takes place next Thursday (11) and has not yet confirmed the broadcast in Brazil
The Golden Globes will take place next Thursday, the 11th, still without a confirmed official broadcast in Brazil. The list of candidates was published one month in advance, on December 12, by Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Among the top nominees in the feature film categories are ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ with eight nominations and ‘Everything and Everywhere at Once’ with six.
In its official synopsis, “The Banshees of Inisherin” recounts: “Pádraic (Colin Farrell) is an exceedingly kind man whose whole being is shaken after experiencing the sudden and accidental cruelty of Colm (Breendan Gleeson), two lifelong friends whose friendship is shattered after conflict erupts in the country. “
Meanwhile, directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the action-packed, humor-packed ‘Everything, Everywhere At Once’ tells the story of Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), a woman who becomes involved in a multidimensional adventure that places destiny of all the universes in her hands – and it also makes her question who she is to herself and her family.
In the Golden Globe Series categories, ‘Abbott Elementary’ earned top nominations with five possible awards. Followed by “The Crown”, “Dahmer: An American Cannibal”, “Only Murders in the Building”, “Pam & Tommy” and “White Lotus”, all with four nominations each.
