Dr David Wicks, a clinical neuropsychologist at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, later confirmed that the podium star’s advice made sense.
“Sex is great aerobic exercise because it increases heart rate and oxygenates the body, which boosts the immune system, improves circulation and helps you stay lean,” the doctor said.
