Cher is releasing a limited DJ Party Edition of her holiday album Christmas on red vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday on November 27.
The exclusive physical release will be restricted to 3,500 copies worldwide, making the pressing a rare collector's item for the holiday shopping season.

The album comes pressed on vibrant red vinyl designed for physical music collectors. Five of the tracks included on the edition are being released on analog vinyl for the very first time.
The special release coincides with Record Store Day Black Friday, an annual retail event supporting independent record stores with exclusive physical music releases.
Five new tracks on vinyl
The tracklist features the catchy song Christmas Is Here alongside three distinct versions of Cher's hit single DJ Play a Christmas Song. The pressing also incorporates a special holiday club remix titled Angels in the Snow (Discotastique! Mix).
The collection retains a strong lineup of guest vocalists from the original project. Legendary musician Stevie Wonder, classic holiday singer Darlene Love, pop star Cyndi Lauper, vocal powerhouse Kelly Clarkson, and Italian performer Giovanni Zarrella all feature alongside Cher.
The collaborations emphasize the widespread admiration and respect Cher commands within the contemporary music industry. Her close friendship with Lauper is among the personal connections highlighted on the album.
Evolution from the 2023 release
The standard edition of Christmas was originally launched in 2023. The project marked a historical milestone in Cher's career as her first full-length festive album.
The 2023 original featured a traditional mix of festive classics and ballads, along with notable duets featuring Canadian crooner Michael Bublé and American rapper Tyga.
The primary success of the 2023 album was propelled by DJ Play a Christmas Song, an upbeat track that quickly climbed music charts as an energetic alternative to standard holiday music.
Shift toward dance floor energy
The new DJ Party Edition represents a major shift in focus from the initial 2023 release. While the standard version was designed as background music for decorating the home, the new vinyl pressing focuses on high-energy dance music and collector appeal.
By bringing alternative digital mixes onto a physical vinyl format, the release revitalizes the material and gives the record a second life. Cher's goal for the release is to transform home living rooms into active dance floors for the holiday season.
