Comedian Chris Rock has appeared on the celebrity dating app Raya, where his profile was shown to young women in London.

The 61-year-old Hollywood star appeared as a potential match for a 25-year-old woman in the capital this week. His presence on the notoriously selective app comes weeks after he was last seen publicly with girlfriend Simone Henault, raising questions over whether the pair have quietly called time on their romance.

Rock and Henault, a DJ and creative producer, attended Wimbledon together on July 2. They were photographed sitting together on day four of the Championships.

A source who came across Rock's Raya profile told the Daily Mail she was stunned to see the comedian appear among the men being shown to her.

"I couldn't believe it when Chris Rock suddenly came up on my Raya," she said. "I'm 25, so there is a 36-year age gap between us. I definitely wasn't expecting that."

"He's obviously incredibly famous, so I was shocked to see him in the first place, but especially because I thought he had a girlfriend," she said.

Dating profile details

The profile gives Rock's age as 61 and uses the name Chris. It describes him as a director, writer and comedian in New York and Los Angeles.

His page links to his official Instagram account, states he lives in SoHo, New York, and notes he is originally from Brooklyn. He frequently visits Santa Monica and Paris.

The father of two included a series of photographs of himself, along with an image containing the text: "Body wants sex. Heart wants love. Soul needs peace."

Other pictures feature a childhood photograph, professional portraits and holiday snaps aboard yachts.

Among 15 saved places are Los Angeles celebrity locations including Chateau Marmont, Gjelina in Venice and Sushi Park in West Hollywood.

Rock listed his interests as books, road trips, beaches, Thai food, music festivals, concerts, foreign films, The New York Times and New York's Museum of Modern Art.

His chosen profile song is LSD by A$AP Rocky. His mixtape includes We're Going to Be Friends by The White Stripes and Dracula's Wedding by Outkast.

Romance with Simone Henault

His apparent return to the dating scene follows a whirlwind few months with Henault.

The pair were first linked in early March after they were spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi, an upmarket Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, California. Later that month, they appeared to confirm the relationship during a PDA-filled outing in Manhattan's SoHo neighbourhood, where they were seen strolling hand in hand and sharing a kiss.

Henault, who keeps a considerably lower profile than the Hollywood comedian, works as a DJ, creative producer and content strategist.

She earned a bachelor's degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication from St Edward's University in Austin, Texas, where she studied between 2009 and 2013.

She worked as a creative producer at Google from 2021 until 2025, where she was part of its Waze team.

Alongside her production career, Henault has established herself as a DJ. She has performed at private members' clubs, including Shoreditch House in London and Soho House venues, as well as events across Los Angeles.

Previous relationships

Rock was previously married to Malaak Compton-Rock for 20 years before their divorce was finalised in 2016. The former couple share daughters Lola, 24, and Zahra, 22.

He has since been romantically linked to actresses Megalyn Echikunwoke, Carmen Ejogo and Lake Bell.

During a 2022 appearance on Kevin Hart's Hart to Heart, Rock joked about the realities of being a bachelor and described himself as a lonely man.

Asked whether he would ever marry again, he said he believed he was good, but hoped he would eventually find a woman who would remain by his side for the long term.

The Daily Mail contacted Rock's representative for comment.
