Selena Gomez showed off her vast London hotel suite as her husband Benny Blanco surprised her with a romantic night in over the weekend. The couple, who married in September 2025, looked loved-up after Benny sailed across the Atlantic to visit Selena because he is afraid of flying.
Gomez has been in the UK filming the latest season of her series Only Murders In The Building and took time off to spend it with her music producer husband. She dressed up for their date night in a satin backless dress with a cowl neckline, walking through the suite in towering heels past candles and white rose petals scattered on the floor and arranged in a heart on the bed.
The couple shared an ice cream with a candle in it and martinis before Gomez jumped on the bed among the rose petals.

Sailing across the Atlantic
In other photos, Gomez and Blanco enjoyed the UK heatwave relaxing in a park before riding around the city in a luxury car. Last month Blanco posted on TikTok that he was on a ship traveling to see Gomez, filming himself on the vessel with text reading, "POV: ur traveling across the Atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying." The caption read: "the things we do for love."

How their romance became public
Blanco recently discussed the early days of the relationship in an interview with the Spanish publication El País. He said Gomez asked him early on whether he was sure he wanted to pursue things, telling him she would understand if he preferred to just be friends, given her fame as a singer, actress and beauty mogul.
Blanco said he decided he wanted a public relationship with her, telling El País he and Gomez are lucky because they both have friends and family they have known since before her fame, surrounded by people they love. He also said he does not like exposing his life, adding that famous people face constant scrutiny no matter what they say.

From private romance to marriage
Blanco said the pair kept their relationship private for about eight or nine months before making it public. They confirmed the relationship in December 2023 and got engaged a year later, with Gomez writing "Forever starts now" on social media while showing off her engagement ring.
They married nearly two years later in a ceremony in Santa Barbara. Ahead of the wedding, the couple released a joint album, I Said I Love You First, in March 2025.

Last November, Gomez described the first weeks of marriage as a dream in an interview with Zane Lowe, saying she knows it will come with ebbs and flows, but that Blanco is the most beautiful person she could go through that with.
