David Beckham is set for an estimated £125million payday, but the football legend remains in a bitter feud with his son Brooklyn. The Times predicts Beckham is heading into his most financially thriving 12 months, aided by the "World Cup Bump." In May, he was named Britain's first billionaire sportsman after accumulating a fortune of £1.185billion.
Beckham's growing income stems from brand partnerships with Nespresso, Hugo Boss, Tempur mattresses, AliExpress, SharkNinja air fryers, Stella Artois, and PerfectDraft beer. He was also pictured in an advertisement for Lays crisps.
David and his wife Victoria Beckham now share a combined fortune of £1.185billion, up significantly from £500million on the 2025 list. The major wealth surge follows his US investments, including signing Lionel Messi to Inter Miami until 2028, which boosted his stake in the club, and a large property development next to Inter's home ground. Victoria's fashion brand revenues have also topped £100million, while David received a knighthood earlier this year.

Beckham family estrangement
Despite his commercial success, the family is in turmoil after being estranged from 27-year-old Brooklyn for over a year. The feud is detailed in Alison Boshoff's book Brand Beckham. Brooklyn and his heiress wife Nicola Peltz instructed lawyers to block contact from his family after claiming his parents controlled his entire life.
Victoria and David recently toured the US for the World Cup with children Romeo, Harper, and Cruz, 21. Romeo was joined by girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 24, while Cruz was accompanied by girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30. Living across the Atlantic, Brooklyn avoided every family gathering.
In January, Brooklyn released a scathing six-page statement denouncing his parents and declaring he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham." He accused his parents of controlling him for much of his life, attempting to drive a wedge between him and Nicola, and leaving him embarrassed when his mother danced "inappropriately" with him during the first dance at his wedding.
Legal notices and social media blocks
Brooklyn has not acknowledged any of his parents' birthdays or milestones publicly since the rift started around David's 50th birthday celebrations. He also failed to share a post for Father's Day this year. Reports previously indicated Brooklyn was "furious" that his parents included him in a Father's Day post and wants them to "leave him alone."
Shortly before Christmas last year, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram. His lawyers later wrote to the Beckhams' team requesting all communication be conducted through legal representatives. The Daily Mail contacted Brooklyn's representatives for comment at the time.
David Beckham was also pictured promoting Nespresso coffee.
Commercial backlash and DoorDash advert
Earlier this year, Brooklyn was accused of selling his family out for a big sum following the release of his two-part DoorDash commercial. Five months after declaring that he and his wife Nicola want privacy, Brooklyn was savaged by fans who branded him "classless" after collaborating with the food delivery firm for the sponsored video.
In the teaser clip released on June 15, Brooklyn smirks and says: "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home... It's a long story." The comment was taken as mocking parents David and Victoria, with whom he no longer speaks, and profiting off their name. Friends of the Beckhams stated the pair are "devastated and inconsolable" by the jibe.
