Actor Dwayne Johnson, known for The Smashing Machine, addressed negative reviews of the live action Moana remake in an interview with People magazine, saying differing opinions do not bother him. Johnson played one of the main roles in the adaptation of the animated film.

Johnson said he was thrilled when the first two reviews were amazing, but things then went differently.
