Ivan Zimmermann was in a car accident last week in the US and is hospitalized at Jackson North Medical Center in Miami, US. Friends of the former narrator of the band have created a campaign to raise money to help with the treatment.
According to reports on social media, Zimmermann passed out while driving and ended up crashing into a wall. The former narrator worries about how he will pay his hospital bills while he is out of work.
“He has been hospitalized since the first week of February, with no expectations of discharge. He has not eaten, only serum and has already had some blood transfusions. He is worried about his bills at this difficult time, because he is not working and generating income, the bills continue to arrive and the costs of hospitalization and medical care in the United States are quite high. He asked if we could help him in this difficult time,” reads the description of the ‘crowdfunding’ created by the friends.
The group’s goal is to raise US$10,000, approximately R$52,000 at current prices. As of now, they’ve gotten just over half the amount.
