Andie MacDowell’s daughter and Bill Pullman’s son debut as a couple at San Diego premiere

On May 4, 32-year-old Rainey Qualley and 29-year-old Lewis Pullman attended the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, where Lewis plays trainee pilot Bob and shares screen time with 61-year-old Tom Cruise. Pullman opted for a sky blue two-piece suit, a white shirt and cowboy accessories to go out. Qualley, on the other hand, dressed up in an elegant classic black chemise dress.

Judging by the social networks of daughter McDowell Rainey, the lovers have been dating since September 2020. She periodically uploads joint photos at home and on vacation, but they appeared in public as a couple for the first time. It is noteworthy that both followed in the footsteps of their parents and became actors. However, Rainey is better known as a singer under the pseudonym Rainsford. She last appeared on the big screen as herself in 2018’s Ocean’s 8. Prior to starring in Top Gun, Lewis played Major Major in George Clooney’s Catch-22 miniseries on Hulu.

By the way, the couple’s parents – 68-year-old Bill Pullman and 64-year-old Andie MacDowell – are former colleagues in the 1997 film “The End of Violence.” Lewis is the youngest of three children of Independence Day and Lost Highway star Pullman and his wife, Tamara Hurwitz.

Rainey is the second oldest of three children of Andie MacDowell, best known for her role in the film Groundhog Day, from her marriage to her first husband, Paul Qualley. The couple divorced in 1999. The last time McDowell appeared in public in mid-March – then she visited the AFI awards in the company of another daughter, 27-year-old actress Margaret Qualley.

In addition to Qualley and Pullman, all the actors of the film were present at the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, and the lead actor and producer of the film, Tom Cruise, distinguished himself by flying onto the red carpet in a helicopter.
