The news jumped through an exclusive of the French magazine ‘Paris Match’, which published on the cover a photo of Monica Bellucci (58) and Tim Burton (64) strolling through the streets of Paris. The headline sounded halfhearted: “Fantastic Weekend.” But they immediately became something much more resounding: ‘The couple of the year’. It is true that we are only in February, but the industry, which has always kept the fridge full of gossip, had not provided us with such a juicy romance between a director and an actress for a long time.
She, with titles such as ‘Malena’ (2000), ‘The Passion of the Christ’ (2004) or ‘Spectre’ (2015) has held the crown of the sexiest woman in cinema (and the planet) for years. He is the one with the eccentric genius from whose head wonders have come out such as ‘Edward Scissorhands’ (1990), ‘Mars Attacks’ (1996) or ‘Sleepy Hollow’ (1999). Together they filmed ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Freet Street’ (2007) and ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (2010). They have two children, Bill and Nell. After their separation, rumors circulated of a romance with Eva Green, his muse in the last phase of his career with titles such as ‘Dark Shadows’ (2012), ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ (2016) and ‘Dumbo’ (2019). But she herself took it upon herself to deny it on her Instagram, and since the break with Bonham Carter no known partner.
For his part, Vincent Cassel married the French model Tina Kunakey (25), with whom he has a daughter, Amazonie. Helena Bonham Carter, who was married to Kenneth Branagh between 1994 and 1999, is now dating Rye Dag Holmboe (34), a writer and university professor.
