On the eve it became known that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after the second night refused the services of a nanny for their first child. This was told by journalist Omid Skobi, who co-authored a book about the spouses “Finding Freedom” and is considered their confidant.
They decided to hire a night nanny to set up a sleep schedule and find an extra pair of hands to help. But they had to part because of a night incident. Megan and Harry were forced to fire the nanny for unprofessionalism and irresponsibility, Scobie said.
Dissatisfaction with her behavior affected the credibility of the second candidate as well. However, Megan and Harry decided to still try to work with another nanny. According to Omid, they were both nervous, but the assistant did a great job.
Neither of them was comfortable sleeping through the night without checking on Archie regularly. So after a few weeks they decided to let the nanny go and took over the night duties themselves. But they still decided to keep the assistant, leaving her as a day nanny who worked on weekdays, the biographer said.
Lorren Khumalo appeared in the Netflix documentary “Harry and Megan”, who was the very second nanny of Archie. She assured that the proposal of the royal couple was a complete surprise for her.
They called me and said: “Prince Harry and Meghan would like to see you and talk to you about caring for Archie.” I said, “Wait a minute, I need to sit down.” I remember driving to them so fast that I got a ticket. When I arrived at Frogmore Cottage, I saw this guy, he is tall, red-haired and goes barefoot. I went and bought him a new pair of slippers at Clarks. And suddenly the formality just slipped away, I felt so at ease. They were really practical parents – in the morning, when Archie woke up, mom and dad came first, – Khumalo said.
Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ridiculed in one of the latest episodes of South Park. The creators portrayed the couple as caricatured as possible, but believable, and called Harry the “Canadian prince”. According to insiders, the Sussexes were upset and offended, but they won’t be able to sue, as the showrunners didn’t leave any specific clues in the plot that would defame the reputation of the spouses.
