In an interview on a radio show, Wayne Sleep talked a little about his relationship with the princess
friend of the princess Lady Dithe choreographer Wayne sleep, revealed that he used to go to his house to wash the dishes. The princess’s goal, she said, was to take a break from British royalty.
“I think she didn’t seek me out so much to talk about the serious stuff that was happening in her life at the time, and things were going so fast there. I think she came to me for a breather,” she confessed, in an interview on BBC Radio 3’s ‘Private Passions’ programme [via New York Post].
She and the 74-year-old photographer became close after they danced together at a 1985 charity gala celebrating their 37th birthday. King Charleswho was the husband of the princess.
“Every time we saw each other, we felt comfortable in my apartment, she did the dishes. It was fun and we laughed,” the choreographer recalled about the mother of princes William and Harry.
Lady Di died in August 1997 in a car accident in Paris.
