Nathan Reeves and Alexsey Reyes were podcasting at a table at Tout Café, in Houston, Texas, when a car on the street gave a “wooden horse” and crashed into the glass window that was the backdrop to the plan.
“It’s so quiet in here,” commented one of the presenters seconds before the black SUV almost ran over them. One of them was pressed against the table and then jumped to the side. Despite the collision, the other remained seated. He was incredulous when he saw the smashed window and the vehicle behind him.
“I think we’re good,” Reeves commented. He let out a few curse words when he realized the damage to the seat and how lucky they were. “It just happened, man.”
The driver and passenger, as well as the podcasters, were unhurt. Soon the police arrived. Witty, Nathan gave one of the officers a business card with his social media addresses.
Several newscasts from North American stations highlighted the unusual news. Influencers are making big money with millions of views of the video of the incident on digital platforms.
