This Friday (10th), the program “A Tarde é Sua”, on RedeTV!, announced that Humberto Martins had Parkinson’s disease. According to Sonia Abrão, the actor would be using a stunt double to disguise the trembling hand in the recordings of “Travessia” (Check out the recaps for upcoming episodes).
On Instagram, Humberto Martins recorded a video and spoke about the news for the first time. “Hello everyone, I’m going to talk to you a bit and clarify certain things there, because there are so many worried people who send me news on WhatsApp and look for me, asking me if I’m okay”, began the actor.
“And people from my family too, really, people who are worried because there are some slanderous, lying notes that are coming out in the press about my esteem, about my state of health,” concluded the actor, who he is usually honest about his life experiences.

Finally, Humberto Martins has denied that the news is true. Including, the actor was waiting to record his scenes of him at the time he recorded the video.
“So, I’m just making it clear here that I’m fine. I’m here in the dressing room recording Intersection and waiting. It’s okay, I wanted to wish you all a good night and a great weekend,” he concluded Jade Picon’s father on the soap opera.
