Gerard Pique revealed how he is after a tumultuous series of months where he has been criticized by some for his behaviour after Shakira’s breakup.

The couple announced the break in June 2022, after 12 years together and together two children in between: Milan (10 years old) and Sasha (8) .

It is alleged that the former footballer he could have been unfaithful with Clara Chía Marti, a 24-year-old girl with whom he currently no longer hides his love.

One of the aspects that Pique has been criticized in some media and social networks is that in a very short period of time he started to let himself look very affectionate with Clara Chia.

They have also revived old videos in which he seems to reveal the bad relationship he had with the singer.

In an interview he gave to El País and published this Sunday, March 19, the Catalan notes that, until before this scandal in his private life, “it seemed that everything was always going well for him”.

“It’s not like that. The problem is how people perceive it. or the press sells it,” said the businessman.

” I keep doing what I want. The day I die, I’ll look back and hope I always did what I wanted to do,” he said.

“I want to be true to myself. I’m not going to spend money to clean up my image. The people who worry about me and the one I love are the ones who know me,” he warned about what is said publicly about him.

” I don’t care about the rest. I use my energy to be with my loved ones and give them everything I have,” said Shakira’s ex, who declined to be named in the conversation with the Spanish newspaper.
