Shakira and her ex-mother-in-law reportedly arrived at BLOWS ahead of Pique and their children

Shakira and her mother-in-law of 12 years, Montserrat Bernabeu, reportedly went as far as physical aggression on one occasion over Gerard Piqué’s “infidelity” with Clara Chía.

The accident would have happened even in front of the children that the singer shares with the athlete, Milan and Sasha, who are currently 8 and 10 years old respectively.

On March 29, Andrea de los Santos reported, in an article in the Spanish media Cuore, the details of the alleged physical confrontation between the interpreter of “I congratulate you” and Pique’s mother.

Citing “a source close to the family”, the journalist explains that the Bernabeu “punched Shakira in the face”.

“[Pasó] in front of Gerard and his children,” he adds. He did not specify what date or where the complicated situation would have occurred.

Apparently, the singer-songwriter wasn’t left without action before her ex-mother-in-law’s attack, and she responded in kind: “It didn’t stop there: it hit him back,” De los Santos wrote.

The conversation apparently arose when Shakira “discovered” that Montserrat was covering for and supporting her son, who was allegedly unfaithful to her with Clara Chía Martí.

According to Laura Fa, owner of the “Mamarazzi” podcast, the ex-footballer’s mother would have helped him hide the relationship with the 23-year-old girl.

“When Pique and Clara’s relationship began, they took refuge in a house owned by his parents in Cabrils, a municipality of Meresme, near Barcelona,” the communicator revealed to Semana magazine.

This would be the reason why the Colombian reportedly got upset with the grandmother of her children, with whom she would not have a relationship at the moment.

“While Shakira was crying on her mother-in-law’s shoulder and [diciendo] “I’m having a bad time,” he was complicit, Fa said.

Although the superstar refrained from speaking directly about the reasons behind her split from Gerard, she appeared to reveal that he cheated on her with Chía in the lyrics of her single ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53’.

“As long as you give it to yourself like a champion and when I needed you you gave your worst version,” he sings. “It’s too big for you and that’s why you’re with someone like you,” she continues.

He also lashed out at the Catalan’s mother, saying: “You left my mother-in-law next door, with the press at the door and the debt to the State.”

Shakira fueled speculation that she is not on good terms with the Montserrat Bernabeu when she placed the figure of a witch on one of the balconies of her mansion, pointing to the residence of her ex’s parents.

For his part, the Bernabéu has kept secret about his son’s break with the singer. However, it has emerged that he supports his courtship with Clara Chia.
