Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan Markle, 40, have been working on a new documentary series about their lives, At Home with the Duke and Duchess, for months, according to Page Six. Launched as part of the royal couple’s $100 million deal with streaming giant Netflix, the project will presumably be released alongside the Duke’s long-awaited memoir. It is reported that Harry and Meghan have already invited operators who will shoot content right at the Sussex mansion in Montecito. However, insiders say that while the couple insists on postponing the premiere of the series until next year.
Deadlines are still being discussed, everything is up in the air, – said the “informed producer”.
It is known that the cameras accompanied the couple during a visit to New York last September – it is possible that these shots will also make it into the final cut. Undoubtedly, the new project raises concerns in Buckingham Palace, because new sensational details from the life of the royal family may come to the public’s attention. It is still unknown whether the couple will allow their children to be filmed: 3-year-old Archie and 11-month-old Lilibet. However, another Page Six insider assures that Netflix will definitely get “its piece of the pie” from the Sussexes.

The news of the new show’s launch comes amid growing concerns about the upcoming release of Prince Harry’s memoir. In the book, the Duke is expected to reveal provocative details of his relationship with the royal family. It is known that Harry has been collaborating for a year now with Pulitzer Prize-winning ghostwriter John Joseph Mehringer Jr., who helps Harry with the literary component. Rumor has it that Her Majesty, Prince Charles and Prince William are shocked by the Duke’s intentions to turn his life inside out, and royal experts warn that a potentially scandalous memoir could burn all the bridges between Prince Harry and Buckingham Palace.
Earlier this month, Netflix announced that it was phasing out Meghan Markle’s animated series The Pearl amid a wave of cuts and layoffs driven by the platform’s plummeting revenue and huge subscriber churn. The show, created by the Duchess of Sussex with the support of Archewell Productions, has stalled in development.
Note that a few days ago it became known that Meghan and Harry are planning return to your old residence, Frogmore House, which cost them an immodest £2.4 million to repair. After the successes resigned royal duties, Meghan and Harry had to pay this amount out of their own pocket. And also to conclude a rental agreement for a cottage – in case they want to live here again, but already as private individuals. In February of this year, Harry extended Frogmore’s lease and paid all bills. This turned out to be very useful – last month, when Harry and Meghan secretly arrived in London togetherthey had somewhere to stay.
