The Sunday Times has revealed the size of the personal fortune of King Charles III. According to journalists, it is 600 million pounds (745 million dollars). Interestingly, the king turned out to be almost twice as rich as his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II. Her fortune was estimated at 370 million pounds.

Karl inherited from his mother large tracts of land, private residences, rare jewelry, an investment portfolio of 100 million pounds, and almost 30 million pounds of elite racehorses. His property is not taxed. The king’s sources of income are real estate and investments, as well as numerous businesses. He is also one of the largest landowners in the UK.

According to The Sunday Times, even before becoming king, Charles set aside part of the profits from the duchy of Cornwall under his control.
