The day before, April 20, Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived on a visit to the second largest city in the UK — Birmingham. There, they met with representatives of the arts and creative industries, and also visited the authentic Indian Streatery family restaurant in the city center, where they took part in the preparation of roti with the staff. In the new photos from the event, the monarchs look inspired and happy and smile broadly in literally every picture.
The Indian Streatery is run by the Sharma family, led by chef and mother Mina. The restaurant started out as a street food place, but over time has taken on a completely different status and now offers a complete variety: from authentic Indian dishes to British-Asian fusion dishes. Notably, the Indian Streatery’s culinary team consists entirely of women. After immersing themselves in the world of Indian cooking, the Welskies also met with former students at University College Birmingham.
For the new release, Kate chose another memorable image. In public, she showed up in a burgundy pleated dress with a belt from Karen Millen and matching suede pumps from her favorite shoe brand Gianvito Rossi. The Princess of Wales completed her look with tribal-inspired earrings by Sezane and a gold Daniella Draper necklace.
Recently it became known that Kate Middleton changed plans for the upcoming coronation of her father-in-law, Charles III, for the sake of the birthday of her daughter Charlotte. The fact is that on the same day, May 2, the dress rehearsal of the historical event is also scheduled. However, the daughter’s holiday turned out to be a priority for the Welsh, and therefore they will be present only at the very beginning, and then go back to Windsor Castle.
