The Cannes Film Festival has already presented several high-profile film premieres, and we have already added some films to our list to watch. One of these tapes is Ruben Ostlund’s drama “The Triangle of Sorrow” with Woody Harrelson in the title role. The plot revolves around a couple of models who go on a luxurious trip on a yacht. When the ship sinks, a guy and a girl find themselves on a desert island surrounded by billionaires and a cleaner. Of all the passengers, only the cleaner knows how to fish, which means how to survive in the circumstances.

Filming was suspended twice due to the coronavirus pandemic. The director called this project the most ambitious of his career. The filming process took 72 days on a desert island in Greece and on board the famous yacht Christina O, whose passengers in different years were Winston Churchill, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and John Wayne. It sounds really promising. The roles in the film were played by Woody Harrelson, Harris Dickinson, Charlby Dean, Henrik Dorsin, Vicky Berlin, Arvin Kananyan, Dolly De Leon, Sunny Melles and Zlatko Buric.
In addition to the cast, Ethan Hawke and his wife Ryan, Carla Bruni, Lady Victoria Hervey, model Leonie Hanne, young parents Toni Garrn and Alex Pettyfer and others appeared on the red carpet that evening.
