Singer Simony posted a video this Tuesday 2, to talk to his fans about the shooting of bowel cancer treatment. In the publication made in her stories, the artist said she was very confident in the recovery and provided the details of the new stage.

“Starting from here. These are the pre-treatments, as we usually call them. We have drugs for nausea, corticoids, which are essential, and also drugs for other purposes. Before the chemotherapy and immunotherapy sessions, we do these pre- treatments, which include the necessary serums,” she said.

Simony then added: “Now we will receive the healing drops. I have faith that everything will work out. After the start of immunotherapy, I will show you. I have never tried this type of treatment, but I am hopeful.”

The singer learned she had bowel cancer in August 2022. She shared on Instagram that she had a colonoscopy to investigate a lump in her groin area and the tumor was found in the back of her intestines.

According to the Ministry of Health and the medical community, bowel cancer is the third most common type in Brazil. It usually originates from intestinal mucosal cells, usually as a result of a benign polyp that transforms into a malignant one over time.
