85-year-old Hollywood legend Jane Fonda gave an interview to The Wall Street Journal. The release of the material is dedicated to the release of her new film “Book Club 2”. Filming took place in Italy. The famous actress and fitness activist said that by her age she had learned to treat life and love with humor. Jane no longer sees a long-term romantic relationship in the future, but this does not bother her.
I’m 86 soon. So nothing will last for me. I’ve come to terms with it. Relationships are hard. I never really knew what the right relationship should be. I know what it takes, but am I capable of it? No, I do not think so. I’ve been with amazing men. Too bad I couldn’t last longer with them. I have always chosen men who challenged me. I think romance is over for me and I’m sad. Recently I met some gorgeous men in Italy, but I didn’t give in to the temptation, Jane shared.
More than forty years have passed since the release of her first aerobics video. Fonda is still in great shape and plays sports every day.
You have to do everything slowly, otherwise you will get hurt. I exercise every day. One day I train my arms, and the next I train my back. I have a trainer who specializes in people over 50 and she comes to my house two or four times a week. I have weights, and I attach expanders to the railing. If 10 years ago I looked at what I’m doing today, I would say: “Are you kidding me? What a weakling!”
Fonda noted that she maintains beauty not only by playing sports. She carefully cares for the skin, applies cosmetics. Reverent care is needed, as the actress recently survived cancer. The chemotherapy had taken a toll on her skin.
Before going to bed, I take off everything that is on my face, whether it’s makeup or just what has accumulated during the day. I’m always looking for a makeup remover that won’t sting my eyes. I’m still searching. I recently had cancer and no one told me that chemo was bad for the skin. So I pay more attention to what I put on my face.
Fonda recently gave a great interview to People. The actress spoke about the difficulties she had to face. Jane noted that despite this, she never gave up and confidently moved forward. The star of the film “Barbarella” shared her emotional state now. She stated that she was extremely happy.
