The Pashkov house opened the season of summer fashion shows. On May 2, a presentation of the RDDM x Lina Dembikova collection took place within the walls of the mansion. It is unique in that all the sketches of the presented outfits were invented by children – winners of the “Ministry of School Fashion” contest. Under the strict guidance of stylist Lina Dembikova, the sketches by young fashion designers turned into real dresses and suits, which Russian stars presented on the catwalk. This year the project was supported by singers Natalya Podolskaya and Yulia Savicheva, TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya, model Elena Kuletskaya, actress Elizaveta Bazykina, Olympic synchronized swimming champion Daria Korobova, Russian gymnast Samira Mustafayeva and others.
I am proud that we are doing the second season of the project. This proves that fashion and creativity in general have become an important part of the development of the future generation. The project helped open up an incredible number of young talented people across the country: our children are able to create a strong future fashion industry. Our task is to help them fall in love with the profession and believe in themselves. I am sincerely happy with my role as an inspirer and guide to the world of fashion for our schoolchildren,” stylist Lina Dembikova shared her emotions.
This year, more than 6,000 young fashion designers took part in the project, and for 200 winners, the competition opened the doors to the fashion industry. Their school uniform capsules will be included in the lookbook that the Russian Movement of Children and Youth will recommend to all schools in Russia.
