Mateus Solano denies slapping a fan’s cell phone, criticizes the “lack of public education” and shows the video from another angle: “I behaved like a pickpocket”

Matteo Solano broke the silence on the controversy experienced during the screening of the theater show “O Figurante”. The actor, recently separated after 17 years of marriage to Paula Braunit was accused of slapping the cell phone of a fan who was filming part of the show without authorization.

“The most famous slap since the ‘panther slap’. Yes, the slap I’m talking about. I thought it was nice to be able, through this controversy, to raise some this problem of lack of public educationthe limits of both”, he began Mateus, who criticized Globo during a rerun of a soap opera.

Mateus justified that he would have preferred to “wait for things to calm down” before speaking and denies having tapped his cell phone. “I didn’t slap anyone. Not on my cell phone, much less on anyone. What I did was act like an idiot and, quickly, I took the cell phone, stole the cell phone and threw it under the armchair,” he explained.

Mateus revealed that the show’s director lives in Portugal. Therefore, the show is recorded from time to time so that the actor receives feedback. “Weren’t we filming the day of the slap? So I have proof that I was a ninja,” he cheered.
