The artist, who is coming to Brazil in November, has donated to an institution in Detroit, Michigan
Taylor Swift made a “generous donation” to an NGO in Detroit, Michigan where it played two shows last week. The passage of the singer with The Tour of the Ages produced not only competitions between American cities to honor the long-awaited tour, but also a high profile Gleaners Community Food Bank.
The NGO that fights hunger in the US state shared a special thanks to Taylor quoting a sentence from the artist herself. “Whatever happens in life, be good to people,” the NGO quoted on Facebook.
“Those words ring true today with Taylor’s surprise donation to Gleaners during The Eras Tour stop in Detroit! Thank you for impacting and empowering children and families with nutritious food!” wrote the Gleaners team .
According to the local Detroit Free Press newspaper, the institute chose not to disclose the amount of the donation, but called it “generous”.

In January, a donation from Taylor also went public and even earned him freebies. Another donation described as “generous” was made by the artist al Williamson County Animal Centershelter for abandoned animals installed in the US state of Tennessee.
