Last Thursday, four days of celebrations began in the UK on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of the Queen’s reign. The first day of the festivities saw a massive Trooping The Color parade and selected family members step onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and one-year-old son August, though not included in their number, but watched the event from the sidelines.
The princess shared family photos on her social networks. The footage shows Eugenie, Jack and August peering up at the London sky as they watch the Royal Air Force fly by. On a special occasion, Evgenia wore a blue dress with long transparent sleeves. Previously, behavioral and color psychologist and author of The Little Book of Color, Karen Haller, explained that blue and light blue in royal attire symbolize “family togetherness.”

Baby August attended Trooping The Color for the first time. In 2019, Eugenia was accompanied by her husband, joining the queen on the balcony of the palace, and in 2020 and 2021 the event was canceled due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Note that in addition to Eugenia and her family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Eugenia’s father, Prince Andrew, who was involved in a sex scandal, and other royal persons did not come out onto the balcony either. The fact is that last month, 96-year-old Elizabeth made changes to traditions, and now only senior ruling members of the royal family will accompany her on especially solemn balcony exits. Among those present on the balcony of Buckingham Palace last Thursday were Queen Elizabeth (of course!), Princess Anne, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton with their children – 8-year-old Prince George, 7-year-old Princess Charlotte and 4-year-old Prince Louis, for whom this release was a debut.
Recall that earlier this week, information appeared in the press that Evgenia and Jack were going to leave for Portugal and live in two countries.
