Diagnosed with bowel cancer in August last year, the singer was thrilled with test results showing the disease in remission
Singer Simony he used his social media late on Friday the 7th to announce the good results of his latest exams and that his cancer is in remission, along with the hashtags “cancer defeated”, “gratitude” and “new life”.
“Today I did the last exam, nothing left, really. God, God, God, gratitude and Dr. Fernando Maluf, my angel on Earth and all his team. I’m about to finish the treatment. Three more to go! ” , he wrote.
Then he made another series of thanks and a reflection on his way of dealing with the disease: “This journey has not been easy and it is not easy, there have been moments of uncertainty, fears and challenges, but with so much determination, the support of family, friends and fantastic healthcare professionals, this angel doctor, Dr. Fernando Maluf, has managed to win this battle”
“Today, with cancer in remission, I am reborn with a new perspective on life. I have learned to value every moment, to enjoy every moment intensely and to be grateful for every little victory,” continued Simony.
The former Balão Mágico member also said that she intends to serve as an example for other people going through similar situations: “This experience has transformed me and made me stronger. Now I want to use my story to inspire and bring hope to other people who are even dealing with cancer. Trust me, a cure is possible.”

Last Saturday, the 1st, Simony celebrated her first birthday since she was diagnosed common bowel cancerin August 2022. The disease made him pass treatment and several sessions of chemotherapy since.
