Now, Julio Iglesias Jr., brother of the “Hero” singer, who has given new details about it.

On July 7, Julio Iglesias attended the program “Y ahora sonsoles” to talk about the wedding of his sister Tamará Falcó. However, during the conversation, he released an unexpected piece of information from another blood relative: Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova got married.
The information came out unexpectedly, when he said that Isabel Preysler, the mother of the bride, was not nervous about the family event, since she had already experienced similar situations: “My mother has seen me get married, my sister Chabeli got married. He has seen Ana get married… What Enrique didn’t do is a big wedding.”
The big reveal was interrupted by a commercial break, but after it resumed, reporter Sonsoles Ónega asked him again: “Is Enrique married?”
However, realizing that he had inadvertently revealed this information, he limited himself to replying: “Enrique has been with Anna for 35 years (sic) and they have 3 wonderful children” with a nervous laugh.
Finally, he limited himself to confirming that his mother had seen all his children marry “at least once”.
So, all that is known about the wedding of Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova is that it was a very intimate event, although there are no details about when and what happened.
The famous couple, for its part, has not decided on the matter.

Although Julio Iglesias Jr. assured that his brother and sister-in-law have been together “35 years”, his story began to be written in 2001, when the tennis player appeared in the singer’s “Escape” music video.
From that moment on, they were romantically linked, and although there are no exact details of when their relationship began, their first appearance as a couple was a few months later (in August 2002). To date they are parents to Nicholas and Lucy (a pair of twins born in December 2017) and Mary, who arrived in January 2020.
Although their love has proven to be unbreakable over time, until now both have expressed that they have no intention of getting married.
In April 2008, for example, Anna Kournikova assured People, “I will never get married,” before saying that “everything” was “good” in her relationship with Enrique Iglesias.
A few years later, in March 2012, the 48-year-old singer explained to Parade magazine why a wedding was not in their plans as a couple:
“I never thought that marriage makes a difference. Maybe because I come from divorced parents, but I don’t think you could love someone more for a role. And today, it is not taboo to have children and not be married. What makes the difference is that you’re a good father, period.”
In more recent years, they both made statements about it, hinting that we wouldn’t see them as husband and wife.
