The Vigor dairy brand was canceled due to a Dani Calabresa commercial, launched in late June. On social media, internet users have criticized the comedian involved in the harassment allegations against Marcius Melhem.
According to consumer logic, Calabresa would be lying about his love for the brand’s products, just as he would have done during the investigation. Vigor’s credibility also took a toll, as the company deleted some negative comments.
“If you can lie in a police investigation, imagine in paid advertising,” enraged one Instagram user. “Sealing marketing that ends branding! Putting people lying and falsely incriminating people is absurd,” another profile scored. “The Vigor product with Calabresa doesn’t sit well in the stomach,” scoffed another.
On Friday (14/7), journalist Ricardo Feltrin pointed out the doubts in the actress’s speeches and was struck by the volume of posts opposing Vigor’s campaign. The Tribo Urbana channel was also surprised by the company’s cancellation, in a video posted on YouTube.
Vigor and the DM9 agency have not yet released any statements on the matter.

Ironically or not, Dani Calabresa’s participation in the Óticas Diniz commercial did not become the target of digital attacks. The campaign was launched last week.
The publication with the actress, on the other hand, had very low views and only got 470 likes on the company’s official profile on Instagram.
