Actress Zooey Deschanel, star of “New Girl” and currently in the last season of “Physical” on Apple TV+, is engaged to Jonathan Scott, one of the twins of the famous show “Irmãos à Obra”. The couple, who have been dating for four years, have registered their newfound status with photos of smiling faces and a luxury ring on social media. “Forever starts now,” Zooey described.
They met in August 2019 during the taping of the program “What am I eating?” and they started dating a few months later. The relationship strengthened during the covid-19 pandemic and, in June 2020, the couple bought their first home together in Los Angeles, USA.
The engagement request took place on Sunday (13/8), during a trip to Scotland by the couple. Zooey’s two children, 8-year-old Elsie and 6-year-old Charlie, were in attendance at the engagement.

This isn’t Jonathan Scott’s first marriage. He was previously married to Kelsy Ully, a flight coordinator, but they split in 2010. Before meeting Zooey, he dated producer Jacinta Kuznetsov, whom he split in 2018.
