Did ‘Chespirito’ have an unidentified son? Florida Meza opens up about her vasectomy and clears up rumors

On August 26, a young man identified as José María Gómez claimed, in a video posted on TikTok, that he was “the unrecognized son” of Roberto Gómez Bolaños “Chespirito”.

According to his story, in 1999 his mother, who was supposed to be the comedian’s masseuse, would have an “adventure” with him. He also pointed out that El Chavo’s interpreter gave him his last name and alimony, however, he would have stopped receiving the alleged monthly payment on order from Florinda Meza when “Chespirito” died.

The young man pointed out that he is not looking for fame, because he just wants to “expose and before Mrs. Florida dies, tell her who I am,” he concluded in his short message.

Florinda Meza reacts to the statements of the alleged son of “Chespirito”

The widow of Roberto Gómez Bolaños denied that her husband was the young man’s father, through a statement on her Instagram account published in the early hours of September 1. In addition, she pointed out that “Chespirito” had a vasectomy before they started a relationship and listed the arguments to categorically deny the alleged paternity claims.

“1. Roberto had a vasectomy before we got together. It’s a common and well-known fact, that’s why he and I didn’t have children” he writes at the beginning.

“2. The clarification is not about the subject who spread this insult, because he knows it’s a lie and later acknowledged it in another video, although when he saw the success of his ‘invention’, he decided to let millions of people believe it. The clarification is for the public.
3. There have always been people using my name to advertise themselves, saying terrible things about me.”

Florinda Meza defends the “honor” of “Chespirito”

Finally, the screenwriter and producer pointed out that on this occasion she clarified the situation because the “honour” of her late husband was involved.

“I can’t go around the world denying all those who decide to profit by making fake story videos, giving interviews where they talk about imaginary romances, or spewing venom because they couldn’t have what I had at the time. I’m making this statement because my ‘Rober’s’ price involved and he is no longer here to defend himself,” he condemned.

Is it a lie that José María Gómez is the son of “Chespirito”?

A day after the video went viral, the young man posted another on TikTok in which he poses for the camera and added the text: “I spread false information on the Internet.”

Finally, on August 30, he uploaded another clip on the same social network where he made it clear that everything was a joke and tricked users into thinking that he would be part of the bio-series that Roberto Gómez Bolaños is preparing.

“Ha ha ha, not true. Troll”, he wrote at the end of the video where he is seen dancing. While in the comments section he added: “See how I’m bringing you from my piggy bank? You don’t learn bro.”
