The singer from Rio Lexa took her admirers by surprise when she revealed in a podcast that she is dealing with an autoimmune disease. In an interview with PodPeople this week, the funk singer opened up about her Hashimoto’s thyroiditis diagnosis.
“When I received the diagnosis I was very sad” the artist began. “I went for some tests requested by my gynecologist. I discovered that I have a disease called Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.
