Singer Is vented about the end of her two-year marriage to her first husband, Erik Anders Lang. According to the star, her 2016 split led to “severe depression” that left her bedridden for three years.
“I got divorced and it really confused me”the star said in an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1.
There was a period so dark that I stayed in bed for three years, very, very depressed. And so I couldn’t really do anything during that period of time.”
“And then I started again, just little bits here and there, but it was really hard to get out of bed,” She said.
According to TMZ, Sia filed divorce papers in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. In a statement, the two said they took their time making the decision but were “dedicated to remaining friends.” The artist is currently married Dan Bernardo.
