Yerly Zuley Lozada, Colombian “influencer” better known as “Susa”, died at the age of 10 after a car accident.
The little one participated in comedy skits, together with her brothers Yomar and Argebis, for their YouTube channel, called “Yomar, Tecla y Susa”, and other social networks.
On the official Instagram profile of the content creators, the news of Yerly’s death was confirmed on September 13.
“We miss you, ‘Suzita.’ It leaves us with great pain in our hearts,” reads a post that also includes a black-and-white photo of the girl.
What happened to Yerly ‘Susa’ Lozada?
On Tuesday, September 12, “Susa” and Argebis, 31, were traveling on their motorcycle along a road that connects the towns of Pitalito and San Agustín in the department of Huila in southwestern Colombia, according to the Daily Mail.
The driver of a bus hit them after apparently losing control, possibly due to mechanical failure.
Yerly was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while her older sister was rushed to San Antonio Hospital, where she will remain.
On the feed of the digital platform belonging to the rising star, a snapshot of Argebis lying in a hospital bed was posted on September 17.
“Teclita”. I sincerely ask you to pray for my sister’s health. With God’s help everything will be fine,” the description reads.
In its report, the aforementioned media reports that Argebis is expected to be discharged this Tuesday or Wednesday, September 20.
The final farewell to Yerly ‘Susa’ Lozada
On the evening of September 13, Yerly was dismissed at a funeral, which was attended by a large group of people, which can be seen in an excerpt published by the British newspaper.
Before the funeral, Yomar Lozada held a “live” on Facebook in which he invited anyone who wanted to be present to say goodbye to the little girl.
“As you all already know what we are going through, it is something very difficult, something incredible, we lost ‘Suzita’, the one who accompanied us until the last day making videos,” he said.
“Unfortunately, Diosito decided to take her, and it’s very difficult for me, for my whole family, and for you, the followers,” she confessed.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she revealed that Yerly was “happy”, dreaming of acting fame and even becoming a model.
“Susa’s” main goal was to raise money to build a house for his mother, where she could run her fried pastry business instead of doing it on the streets, the young man said.
On whether he and Argebis will continue performing the humorous scenes they became popular for, Yomar shared that they are deciding.
“He was the promoter of the page, so it’s very complicated for me because I go there and see. This affects me, my brothers, my mother and my father a lot,” he said.
