“She died in my arms, I felt her little heart stop, she wasn’t in pain,” said Alexandre Rossi
Estopinha’s tutor, Alexandre Rossi, revealed that the influencer died in his arms. “She died in my arms, I felt her little heart stop, she wasn’t in pain, I looked at her, she looked at me”, he said emotionally.
Rossi was present at the program Encounter this Friday the 22nd to pay homage to the little dog who passed away on Wednesday the 20th at the age of 14. During her participation in the program, Rossi shared memories and highlighted the importance of Estopinha in her life and that of many Brazilians.
“What she did for me was unimaginable… The success, the affection she received from people. So many people who felt love for her, took better care of the dogs. They adopted many more dogs. In fact, I I didn’t adopt her as a puppy, so that’s why I think it helped encourage people to give an older dog a chance,” she said.
Estopinha, returned twice by other owners before being adopted by Rossi, left a significant legacy for her owner.
“She’s gone, but she left a very special legacy,” Rossi said. He also recalled the dog’s adventurous spirit: “She was an example of enjoying life. She wanted novelty, confusion, to know the place. She was a real explorer. And on her last day I had the intuition to take her into the garden to build, and she went out exploring everything. Her last night was as an explorer.”
