The actress and presenter Xuxa has announced that she is an organ donor in support of the Green September campaign, which raises awareness and encourages organ donation.
The announcement was made on his Instagram profile, where he shared a video with information on the campaign.
“We are in the month of Green September, the month of awareness and encouragement for organ donation. Did you know that the law in Brazil says that the final decision is up to the family, and that the donor’s data for organs already received are recorded on the identity document? This is why I left a message of support for the campaign. I am an organ donor, and you?”, she writes alongside the video, which repeats the information and adds: “Tell your family that you are a donor. Ask them if they would also donate their organs. Donating is an act of love, it saves lives.”
The initiative, which takes place after the heart transplant of the host Fausto Silva, received many positive comments from the Queen’s followers.
