BTS ‘Taehyung listens to live music sung by Caetano Veloso


‘Cucurrucucú Paloma’, played by the Brazilian, has already been part of the soundtrack of several foreign films

Taehyungone of the members of the South Korean group BTS, drove Brazilian k-pop fans crazy this Monday the 13th. The singer, known by his stage name vappeared listening to a song by the Brazilian Caetano Veloso during a live.

The artist created a broadcast that lasted more than 1 hour and a half on the V Live platform, a South Korean streaming service known for broadcasting celebrity videos from the country to the world.

The live was played around 7.6 million times and got 475 million likes. At one point, V appeared “asleep” while he was listening to some songs. Among them was there Cucurrucucu Palomasung by Caetano.

The music was composed by the Mexican composer Tomas Méndez and won a Brazilian version of the album Live fine printsince 1995.

Cucurrucucu Paloma has already been part of the soundtrack of several international films, such as Moonlight: in the moonlightwinner of the Best Film category at the 2017 Oscars.

Furthermore, in 2002, Caetano has already participated in the feature film Talk to herby the famous director Pedro Almodóvar, and even recorded a scene interpreting the song.
