Gonçalo Roque, Silvio Santos’ right-hand man, has been hospitalized since Wednesday (10/4) in a private hospital in Sao Paulo after fainting at home. The director of the auditorium underwent some tests, was diagnosed with Covid-19 and remains hospitalized in intensive care.
The medical bulletin clarifies Roque’s state of health: “He is currently stable, conscious and active. He does not require oxygen supplementation or other organic support. He remains hospitalized under the care of the cardiology team, with no expected discharge”, states the document read in “Fofocalizando”.
The director has taken all the doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine and has no symptoms of the disease.

Gonçalo Roque was rushed to hospital on Tuesday (4/10) after suffering a sudden faint at home. The director’s wife, Janilda Nogueira, revealed that she gave her husband a heart massage and that he regained consciousness before help arrived. Neurologists and cardiologists work together to find out what caused Roque to lose consciousness.
“Life always scares us. At my age [86 anos], the scare comes in double doses. This week I fainted at home, apparently without any cause and was taken to hospital, where I am, treated and subjected to every possible test to find out if something is wrong. Thank you in advance for all your concerns and prayers. So far we only know what is not thrombosis and what is not heart disease.
