Why Anuel AA underwent ‘life or death’ surgery revealed

Anuel AA sent his followers into a frenzy by announcing that he had to undergo “emergency” surgery on the evening of Saturday 7 October.

On his Instagram account, the “Rich From Yesterday” singer shared a photo, in which he is seen lying in a hospital bed, and a touching message.

“Only God knows why things happen, it was a matter of life or death. “I can’t continue working right now,” is part of what he said.

In his letter, he assured such things that “the only thing that matters to him” is that he is alive, but did not reveal the reason why he went into surgery.

What happened to Anuel AA?

A few hours after the so-called “Trap God” appeared after the procedure, the Dominican media portal Diario Libre published details about it.

According to his report, published this Monday, October 9, Anuel AA underwent surgery due to an episode of appendicitis.

“The Puerto Rican singer experienced complications related to this condition and was rushed to the hospital to receive medical attention,” they explain.

The operation, they add, was necessary to treat inflammation of the appendix and to “ensure the recovery” of the 30-year-old artist.

According to the Mayo Clinic, symptoms of this condition include: sudden pain that starts in the right side of the lower abdomen, nausea and vomiting, constipation or diarrhea, and loss of appetite, among others.

So far, neither the rapper nor his team have confirmed or denied this information, nor have they shared what it is like right now.

What Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, real name of the singer-songwriter, said is that the release of his latest album will have to wait, so his recovery may take some time.

“Heartbreaker was supposed to come out in two weeks, but not anymore (postponed until further notice, I’ll give you the date once I know what’s going to happen to me),” he noted in the text that spread via social media.
