The presenter had to brave traffic on the way to the electronic music festival taking place in the hinterland of Sao Paulo
Not only the city of Sao Paulo can surprise motorists with hours in traffic to reach a place. On the night of Thursday the 12th, presenter Patrícia Poeta got stuck in a huge traffic jam on the way to Tomorrowland Brasil, an electronic music festival that takes place in the city of Itu, in the hinterland of São Paulo.
The host went to the festival to see her son, DJ and producer Felipe Poeta, perform on one of the event’s alternative stages.
However, it wasn’t easy to get there. “I can’t believe I’m 3:30 hours away in the van. I still couldn’t get to the event. I was crazy, eager to see my son play at Tomorrowland. But the road stopped,” he said in a video published on his Instagram account. “I’m seeing excerpts of videos that they’re sending us,” he said.
After the setback, Patricia arrived on site and still managed to attend a tribute her son gave her. Felipe played the samba Tá Perdoado, a composition by Arlindo Cruz and José Franco Lattari, made famous by singer Maria Rita.
To the website Gshow, Felipe told how the moment went. “I did the remix with Maria Rita’s song, Tá Perdoado, a house version. I loved seeing my mother’s face ‘I think I know this song’! And, out of nowhere, we were singing together,” he said.
Patricia Poeta justified the choice of music. “Felipe listened to this song when I went to pick him up from school,” the presenter told the site.
