Kojima Productions is currently working on Death Stranding 2, OD and Physint
Speaking with the French magazine, Français films, Hideo Kojima spoke more about the projects currently under development at Kojima Productions, also saying that it can take into consideration the possibility of making a film when Death Stranding 2 and Physint is ready, with the last one can request another five or six years until it is released.
“In addition to Death Stranding 2, there is Physint in Development. It will take five or six years. Maybe afterwards, I can finally decide to dedicate myself to a film. I grew up with the cinema. Guide would be a kind of tribute to him. Furthermore, I am getting old and I prefer to do it while young.”Kojima said (via VGC).
Announced at the beginning of 2024 during a game state, Physint is a new IP for solid Metal Gear -style espionage, which is being developed for PlayStation.
Kojima Productions is also working on the project or with Microsoft. Kojima probably did not mention it in the interview with the French magazine because it was made as part of the continuous promotion of Death Stranding 2, whose publisher is Sony.
Recently, Kojima said he had re -evaluated his priorities after being very sick in the pandemic, leaving a USB stick with game ideas for his study to use after his death.
