Mara Maravilha mourned the death of Eliezer Silveira
Eliezer Aguiar Silveirathe biological father of Mara Maravilha, died at the age of 82. The news was released on the presenter’s official Instagram profile on the night of Tuesday 17th.
the cause of death was not revealed. The singer did not have much contact with Eliezer and was raised by her mother, Happy Marileideand his stepfather, whom he calls ‘The Father that God gave me’, Raimundo Souza.
In a conversation with Jornal Correio, from Bahia, Mara Maravilha lamented Eliezer’s death: “Like my father I love him, now Raimundo Souza was the one who raised me. But this doesn’t bring me any resentment or pain. It’s life, it happens,” the presenter said.
“My heart is at peace and I offer my condolences to my father’s family, may the Holy Spirit comfort them. What matters is this: we are here passing through. I am sure that he left loving me and I am here , even with this disharmony, I too continue to love in my own way”, continued the artist.
“Recently, by coincidence, Raimundo Souza, ever present, was with Mara and her nephew Miguel Benjamim, and they took the opportunity to record their stories, which will air on PODMARA on the YouTube channel: Mara Maravilha Oficial. ‘A life as it is…’ says Mara”he concluded.
