“I think the best thing they could have given me is the fact that it’s easy to move, because it’s awesome!” said the creator
July Garcia discovered that Privacy is a way to escape traditional work. A A 21-year-old woman wanted to become a veterinarianbut her experiences have left her disillusioned with the area, and she has seen her work on the platform produce extremely positive results.
A resident of Sorocaba, July has always loved working, regardless of the area. When he was still a teenager, he helped his mother work in a shop. “Since I was little my dream has always been to work. Someone should have talked to this kid,” she joked.
“When I turned 15 I started doing odd jobs with my mother, I helped her in the shop, I earned little. It was nothing serious, I wasn’t forced to be there, but I did it because I liked having my own money and being independent,” she commented.
At 18 she started working in a dog hotel as a monitor and later moved into the bathing and grooming industry. “Since I was little I have always really liked animals, so I knew them, I liked what I did”, she underlined.
Before fame: Celebrities who worked in diners and restaurants
Her love for animals was so great that July wanted to study veterinary medicine, but the high costs of university and other aspects of the profession ended up disappointing her, forcing her to give up the project.
“University is very expensive, my parents and I couldn’t afford it, I couldn’t get enough scholarships. So that dream was put aside, I didn’t think it was possible. Then I started analyzing other things, the salary is very unfair, because you pay a lot of money at the university, you work a lot and you don’t get paid enough,” she said.
“People think, ‘You’re doing it for the pet,’ so they think you have an obligation. They forget that there is an expense with the resources used. I worked in a clinic for a while, some people came and saved a stray puppy, they took it to my boss and said: ‘Be careful, I don’t have money to pay, I’m leaving.’ And if he said that he can’t, because treatment costs money, and it’s not cheap, people would call him a monster,” he underlined.
Before she started selling her content on Privacy, July worked as a sales associate and also as a telemarketer: “I couldn’t cope with the CLT life anymore, it was sucking my soul, and then I discovered Privacy.”
The influencer highlighted the positive features of the network and declared that she has already earned more than R$50,000, which also earned her a trophy: “I think the best thing they could have given me is the fact that it’s easy to use, because it’s too much! Simple and practical, every time I needed support they gave it to me,” he said.
“I’m almost reaching R$100,000. Some of the money has already been invested. I know there is still a lot to do, but for me who earned a thousand reais a month… I never imagined I would get to that much in a year,” she added.
In her free time, Jully said she likes to try new restaurants and loves watching series and anime. Furthermore, she revealed that she is a fanatic of the world of games: “I’m a bit of a nerd, I like playing video games, watching series and anime. Either I’m watching, or I’m playing, or I’m reading.
