The body of the actor and the model Ricardo Cesare Merini, 37 years old, was identified last Saturday, 28 years old, by the Sao Paulo police. He had been missing since the 21st, when he was seen in the Bela Vista neighborhood, in the central region, on his way to meet a friend.
According to a family friend, the body remained at the Legal Medical Institute (IML) the entire time without identification. See below what is already known and what remains to be clarified about the actor’s death.
What happened?
The actor arrived from a trip on Saturday evening and, a few hours later, left home to meet a friend who was in the same neighborhood. He left home on foot, but never met his friend.

Security camera footage obtained from Estadao shows the model on the night of her disappearance. In the first, the actor is seen with a suitcase arriving home around 9.48pm. Shortly thereafter, Ricardo leaves the residence, around 11.36pm, using his cell phone.
According to Fernanda Hoffman, a friend of the model, there is no further relevant information on the case. Police are investigating other security camera footage in the region.
The body has been identified
There were days without an answer as to where the model was. Last Saturday, the 28th, the body was identified at the IML.
“He was always at IML,” the friend said. “We are very sad and angry about the delay. We, friends and relatives, went to every corner of the city to look for him. Since the early hours of last Sunday he was at the IML. And the police told us that there was not one with its characteristics. We had to investigate on our own.”
In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security specified: “The victim’s body was identified this Saturday (28th) by the Ricardo Gaumbletaun Daunt Identification Institute (IIRGD), after transmitting the fingerprints collected by the IML. family has been informed of the recognition and investigations continue by the 5th Missing Persons Police Station of the DHPP to clarify the facts.”
According to G1the IML corpse was identified with a suicide report and was therefore not associated with Ricardo.
What do you need to know?
It is still unclear what really happened to Ricardo. The actor’s cell phone was located in a community, but it is not known what happened since he left the house.
According to the medical examiner, he informed the G1the cause of death was head trauma.
