Prince Harry issued a rare press statement to deny an article published by the British newspaper The Sunday Times. The publication claimed that the duke and his wife, Meghan Markle, had been summoned 75th birthday of King Charles III, celebrated on the 14thbut they refused the invitation.
In a statement sent to People magazine, Harry’s representatives not only denied the information, but also reported that the Sussexes had not even been invited to Charles’ birthday party.
“In response to headlines in the British media, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to Her Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing that the Sunday Times incorrectly reported this story,” Harry’s team said.
