What is known about C-Knight’s death
A member of the artist’s family told TMZ that Arnez Blount, the rapper’s real name, died this Tuesday, November 7 after apparently relatives. They decided to ‘take him off life support’ that helped him continue in this world.
C-Knight had entered the hospital after “stroke” last October 18.
Just last Sunday, Nov. 5, the singer’s father, George Lee Washington Blount Jr., told TMZ that the “stroke” was caused by “complications of diabetes”.
“His blood sugar level is up scary level“, the media reports citing the rapper’s father.
The father said his son was unresponsive and that doctors “they monitored his brain activity”.
“While he was on dialysis at the hospital, he somehow suffered a stroke and went into cardiac arrest,” TMZ reported.
“The doctors He was resuscitated and put on life support.but he was unresponsive and medical staff told the family there were no signs of progress,” he added.
Who was C-Kight?
The singer, along with Bo-Roc and 2Scoops, was one of three members of The Dove Shack, one of the pillars of the G-Funk movement of the 1990s along with other stars such as Warren G and Snoop Dogg.
Some of the famous trio’s hits include ‘Summertime in the LBC’, ‘This Is The Shack’ and ‘Smoke Out’.
More than a decade after their debut, the group, originally from Long Beach, released a second album in 2006, ‘Reality Has Got Me Tied Up’.

Following C-Knight’s death, his partner Bo-Roc remembered him on Instagram with a heartbreaking message: This is like a fucking nightmare“I swear this s**t hurts differently and I don’t want to talk to anyone.”
“So please leave me alone and pray for us“, the singer wrote, “in my soul I love you brother and I don’t know what the hell to do if you leave.”
