The cast of the series “Grey’s Anatomy” is in mourning following the confirmation of the death of one of its members.
It’s about the actor Jack Axelrod, who has died aged 93. The artist is also remembered for his participation in the legendary American soap opera ‘General Hospital’.

Jennifer Garland, a representative for the actor, confirmed the death to The Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly.
Death due to “natural causes” in Los Angeles on November 28, but it wasn’t until last weekend that the news became public.
“I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with him in his later years, like I had no close familyGarland said in a statement.
“We spent a lot of time outdoors, where Jack loved to draw, read news articles and they recite Shakespeare’s sonnets,” he noted.
It was in 1960 that Axelrod enrolled in an acting school after being a bookseller and architect, according to People en Español.
In 1971 he got his first relevant job as an actor in Woody Allen’s film Bananas.
The actor has appeared in many TV series and movies over the years, most notably in “General Hospital” as mob boss Victor Jerome. In “Grey’s Anatomy” he played an elderly patient in a coma named Charlie Yost.
On the big screen, he appeared in ‘Hancok’, ‘Super-8’ and ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’, among many others. His last work was in the movie ‘Bad Therapy’, in 2020.
