After placing an order for more than R$ 1.2 thousand for a dinner Christmas via the delivery app, the influencer and businessman Felipe Neto showed all his irritation at having been left without a meal on the night of Monday 25th. The YouTuber recounted the fact on his profile on the social network .

According to a printout shared by Felipe, the order was placed at 7.27pm and confirmed in the same minute by the restaurant that would prepare the meal. The estimated delivery time was 1 hour and 40 minutes, but after two hours the order was still “in preparation”.

In a second publication, Felipe said that his friends had gone to the restaurant to collect the order, but the place was closed. According to the influencer, the dinner would be for him and 14 other people.

A woman who identified herself as the restaurant’s marketing coordinator contacted Felipe Neto, telling him that the fault was not with the place she worked for, but solely with the app.

“December 25 is the only day of the year that we are closed. What happened is that iFood automatically opened our store without our permission or authorization,” the employee reported.

The amount was returned to Felipe Neto’s account. Until the publication of this report, the delivery app had not commented on the case.
