Balloons and a hat: how Mike and Zara Tindall celebrated their daughter’s fourth birthday

The last few weeks have been tense for Queen Zara’s 41-year-old granddaughter and her husband Mike Tindall: first they took part in large-scale celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth, then flashed luxurious outfits at Royal Ascot equestrian competitions, and last Sunday celebrated their daughter’s birthday Lena, who is 4 years old.

Judging by the photos on social networks of 43-year-old former England rugby star Mike Tindall, the family holiday was no less colorful than the Trooping the Color solemn parade, which the couple attended at the beginning of the month. In the frame, he and his wife pose in giant hats made from colorful balloons. In another picture, Mike flaunts in the same green and pink hat that Zara wore at the recent Royal Ascot races, and admits that he loves his wife’s outfits.

It is worth noting that spouses rarely publish photos of children. Even the post dedicated to the birthday of little Lena did without pictures of the girl.

Recall that next month the royal couple will celebrate the 11th wedding anniversary, which took place in Edinburgh. In addition to daughter Lena, the couple has two more children – 8-year-old Mia and one-year-old son Lucas. Now the family lives in Gatcombe Park – the residence of Zara’s mother, Princess Anne – together with Anna herself, her husband Sir Timothy Lawrence, as well as Zara’s brother Peter and his daughters.
