The soloist of the group “Tender May” died as a result of a massive heart attack, the doctors could not save him. As the chief physician of the Domodedovo hospital told RBC, “On June 22, at 23:30 Moscow time, Yuri Shatunov was taken to the hospital in a state of clinical death. For an hour and a half, doctors provided medical assistance, but he died as a result of acute heart failure caused by a massive heart attack myocardium”.
One of the first to leave the artist was the producer of the group Andrei Razin, with whom Shatunov had a difficult relationship in recent years. Also, condolences come all day from the fans of the artist, and from his stellar colleagues, many of whom were his close friends and started their careers, albeit around the same years. When I was 15 years old, I first came to the concert of the group “Tender May” in the Olympic. And since then, I have listened to their songs with great pleasure. They are from the orphanage in Orenburg, my countrymen, and their songs are my carefree youth. Working in the music industry, I never managed, unfortunately, to personally meet Yura. Although in absentia we knew each other and sent greetings. From Yura, I received posters with an autograph for me and invitations to my concerts. When they worked at our concerts, I was always away. So it didn’t hit them. There was only one time, a few years ago, at the “90s Disco” in the Olympic, where we had fun and jumped like in childhood under his hits!
